DTF Transfer Peel Instructions

Not sure when to peel your DTF transfer?

Always follow the peel instructions provided with your specific transfer when available. If no peel method is specified:

  • Allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling — start with a cold peel.

  • Slowly peel the carrier sheet from one corner.

  • If the design begins lifting with the carrier, stop, lay the carrier back down, and repress for a few more seconds.

  • Once peeled, cover the design with parchment or a protective sheet and repress for 5 seconds for added durability.

Tip: Peel slowly and carefully. Different DTF transfers can have different hot, warm, or cold peel requirements, so when in doubt, cold peel is the safest general starting point.
