DTF Transfer Pressing Instructions

Heat Press Required: Commercial heat press or quality clam-shell heat press.

  • Temperature: 300–325°F

  • Press Time: 10–15 seconds

  • Pressure: Medium to firm

  • Pre-Press garment to remove any moisture.
  • Cold peel — allow transfer to cool completely before peeling.

  • Second Press- Cover the design and repress for an additional 5-8 seconds.

Aftercare Instructions

  • Wait 24 hours before washing.

  • Turn garment inside out before washing.

  • Wash with cold water.

  • Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

  • Do not use bleach directly on the design.

  • Avoid ironing directly over the transfer.

Important: Pressing results can vary depending on the garment, heat press, pressure, and fabric. Always test a transfer when using a new garment or material.

DTF transfers can be applied to many fabric types, including cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and other compatible fabrics. Always check your garment manufacturer's heat recommendations before pressing.

Important Notes

  • Transfers require heavy/maximum pressure for proper application.
  • Home irons and Cricut EasyPress machines are not recommended.
  • For best results, use a heat press with even heat and pressure.
  • Insufficient heat or pressure may result in an incomplete or poor-quality transfer.
  • Always test on your specific garment/fabric before applying to bulk orders.
