Collection: Sublimation Designs

Sublimation is a printing technique that uses heat to transfer dye onto 100% polyester or 50/50 poly cotton blend fabrics. The process involves printing a design onto special sublimation paper with sublimation ink, then using a heat press to transfer the ink onto the fabric. The heat turns the ink into a gas, allowing it to bond with the fibers, resulting in prints that won’t peel, crack or and will have no feel. This method works best on polyester fabrics or polyester-coated materials, offering full-color designs with excellent durability.  Sublimation designs are brightest and most vibrant on lighter colored shirts.

Sublimation printing does not use white ink.  Any white area in a design will appear as the color of the shirt you choose.   

Due to the sublimation process, designs may have a soft, slightly faded vintage appearance that is part of the unique charm of this printing method.

Sublimation Information

To achieve the best print quality, we use premium-quality shirts from trusted brands such as Gildan®, Jerzees®, Port & Company®, Tultex®, and other comparable brands based on your selected color, size, and current inventory.

Please Read Before Ordering

✔ Sublimation works best on light-colored shirts such as White, Sand, Natural, Ash, Light Pink, Light Blue, Heather Dust, and other light shades.

✔ Because sublimation ink permanently dyes the fabric fibers, white ink cannot be printed. Any white areas in the artwork will be the natural color of the shirt.

✔ Sublimation on cotton/poly blends is designed to have a soft vintage appearance, not the bold solid look of DTF or screen printing. Slight fading and a distressed look are normal and part of the unique charm of sublimation.

✔ Shirt brand and fabric blend may vary depending on color and availability, but all shirts are premium quality and selected for the best sublimation results.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold, inside out
• Tumble dry low or hang dry
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron directly over the design
• Avoid high heat to help preserve the print
